Cheers.i just use a standard laptop, kontrol s4 has its own soundcard built in!
all you need is a decent laptop with some decent ram, and enough space to store all your music :weee:
i’ve got 4gbs ram, shared graphics memory an a 500gb hardrive with a 2.4ghz dual processor and it runs smooth as anything, no problems at all.
i own the omni control though, which is a slightly different version of traktor, however the system requirements are the same.
OOOOOH and they have just announced traktor 2, it comes out april 1st so might be worth either waiting around for the old stuff to drop in price OR buy the new one?
either way at the end of the day have fun with it. :group_hug
numark omni control is what i use, its decent, has good mapping for traktors controls as well, and is sturdy and has taken a beating over the year i have had it.
beers spills, drops, scratches etc but its still going strong 🙂yeah i see where both of you are coming from.
most dubstep is pretty simple, but the bass just makes you move, or me at least haa.although the genre is getting overrun with so called dubstep which is just a load of screeches, completely lacking in bass. ah well hating aint gunna get us anywhere!
i like most types of dance music, depends on moods and what not, gotta have a bit of variation in your life!

yeah its never going to work, there is no way they will change their minds to be fair.
theres going to be more protests though, i will still attend and stand up for us, even if i just about got away with a caution for catching a policemans hat which was thrown at me. stupid OBAlso because hopefully someone will bring a louder soundsytem this time 😉
yeah i go to college at the minute and am planning on going to uni next year.
i was at the protests today, some places got a bit angry but it was hardly crazy (especially where i was in cambridge) i just hope the government takes note that people actually care about the cuts; not just to education but to everything, when we can still manage to fund wars which we shouldn’t have been involved in IMO.
